Ben Plant

Ben is a member of Rede’s Capital Solutions team.

As a senior team member with over 15 years' private markets experience, Ben acts as a trusted advisor to Rede's GP clients. He provides strategic advice on delivering a wide range of GP-led secondary transactions incorporating continuation vehicles, single asset transfers, strip sales, M&A and minority equity direct transactions and alternative liquidity solutions.

Prior to joining Rede, Ben was a senior member of Lazard’s Financial Sponsors advisory team, responsible for coverage of mid-market GPs across Europe and the Middle East, providing advice on a range of transactions covering M&A, equity and debt capital markets, as well as secondary market transactions across geographies and sectors. He is a qualified lawyer in England and Wales and began his career as a Solicitor with Slaughter and May.

Ben holds an MA in History from the University of Oxford and an MBA from Imperial College Business School.
